StaticSmart StatCare ESD Floor Maintenance Products
A routine maintenance program provides the most satisfactory gloss retention and wear characteristics of any floor coating. Floor surfaces should be swept with an untreated mop daily to remove abrasive loose dirt and sand. Floors should be damp mopped with StatCare Clean regularly, as needed, to remove soil, salt and film deposits which can degrade the coating's conductive properties and gloss. Spray buffing with StatCare Buff is recommended to reduce the necessity of recoating and maintain optimal appearance and static dissipative qualities.
Maintaining your static control flooring is essential for long life and optimal performance. Julie Industries offers a full range of floor care products that will keep your esd floors looking great and performing their best.
StatCare ESD Floor Cleaner : Static Dissipative Floor Cleaner
Regular cleaner and detergent compounds destroy the static dissipating properties of highly specialized conductive floor finishes like StatCare Finish, rendering their static control properties ineffective.
StatCare Clean removes dirt and soil while maintaining or increasing the conductivity of StatCare Finish, StatCare Buff or StatCare Seal. StatCare Clean is equally effective on vinyl, vinyl-asbestos, rubber, linoleum, ceramic and concrete surfaces.
Application and Maintenance
Floor surfaces should be swept or vacuumed prior to washing to remove loose dirt and soil. For use in daily or frequent mopping, use a diluted solution of 8-10 ounces of StatCare Clean per gallon of warm water. Mop the floor lightly and allow it to dry. Do not rinse. For heavier soil conditions, sweep or vacuum the floor to remove soil or dirt. Dilute 12 –16 ounces of Clean per gallon of warm water and use as a mopping solution. After cleaning, the floor can be spray-buffed with StatCare Buff or recoated with StatCare Finish. Do not use plain water or regular all-purpose cleaners for maintaining conductive finishes.

StatCare Remover Stripping Solution
Our most effective stripper, Remover rapidly dissolves multiple layers of floor finish. StatCare Remover strips three to five layers of finish with only a mop. Remove years of buildup quickly with a scrubbing machine & stripping pad.
StatCare Remover is unsurpassed in removing heavy buildups of UHS and urethane fortified finishes. Dissolves almost impossible to remove straight acrylic sealers. Formulated from top-quality water miscible solvents, Remover contains < 1% solids at concentration, leaves no alkaline residue.
Application and Maintenance
Dilute 32 ounces of Remover for routine stripping, 42 ounces for medium buildup or 128 ounces for heavy buildup per gallon of warm water. Apply stripping solution with a mop. Let stand for five minutes. Remove the dissolved finish and solution with a wet vacuum. Any residual dissolved floor finish that remains after vacuuming should be removed by light rinsing or damp mopping. Allow floor to dry thoroughly before applying any other finish.
Remover is not recommended for use on Asphalt Tile or older Linoleum Tiles, as it may remove the dye, particularly from dark-colored tiles.

StaticSmart Seal : Static Dissipative Floor Sealer
Designed for use on resilient tile or other porous surfaces as a base coat for StaticSmart Finish. Can also be used alone as combination sealer/finish for hard surfaces such as coated or bare concrete, terrazzo, ceramic tile or stone.
StaticSmart Seal is a state-of-the-art sealer/finish with inherent static-dissipating properties. Seal's static dissipating ingredient is actively linked to the chemical structure of the polymer system to control washout or leaching of the static control properties.
Covers approximately1500-2000 square feet per gallon depending on the porosity of the surface.
Application and Maintenance
For best results, apply StaticSmart Seal to surfaces that are 60º F or warmer and in relative humidity conditions of between 40-65%. Remove old finish or sealer with StaticSmart Remover. Vacuum stripping solution and rinse the floor with clean water to remove any dissolved finish residue. When used as a base coat for StaticSmart Finish, one or two coats are recommended depending on the porosity of the surface. When used as a sealer/finish on hard surfaces, two or three coats will provide the optimum gloss and durability. Apply thin even coats, allowing approximately 30-45 minutes drying time between coats. Allow two hours between the last coat of Seal and the first coat of Finish.
When used as a sealer/finish, recoat in the following manner: Vacuum the floor to remove any loose dirt or dust. Wash the floor with StaticSmart Clean to remove dirt and soil. Apply thin even coats, allowing approximately 30 minutes for Seal to dry before resuming of foot traffic. Floor surfaces should be swept with an untreated mop daily to remove abrasive loose dirt and sand. Floors should be damp mopped with StaticSmart Clean regularly, to remove soil, salt, and film deposits which can degrade the coating's conductive properties and gloss. For optimum results do not apply during humid conditions and do not dry-buff or burnish.

StatCare ESD Floor Finish : Static Dissipative Floor Finish
A new state-of-the-art floor maintenance finish with inherent static dissipating properties. The unique static dissipating ingredient is actively linked to the chemical structure of the polymer system, preventing washout or leaching of the static dissipative properties. StatCare Floor Finish provides a high gloss, easy to maintain, durable floor finish.
Application
For best results, apply StatCare Finish to surfaces that are at least 60º F or warmer and in conditions where relative humidity is between 40-65%. Remove old finish or wax with StatCare Remover. Follow directions on stripper label. For optimum appearance and gloss on initial application, use three to five coats of finish. No more than three coats should be applied in an eight hour period. Apply thin coats. Depending upon humidity, allow approximately 30-45 minutes drying time between coats.
Maintenance
Vacuum the floor to remove any loose dirt or dust. Wash the floor with StatCare Clean to remove dirt and soil. Apply thin, even coats, allowing approximately 30 minutes to dry before resumption of foot traffic. The frequency of stripping and refinishing will vary depending on the environmental conditions with a particular facility. However, field experience indicates that monthly refinishing generally provides optimal results.

StatCare Buff : StaticSmart Buffing Solution
This innovative spray buff is a companion product for StatCare Finish. An integral component of a conductive maintenance program, StatCare Buff is designed to extend the static dissipative qualities of StatCare Finish, as well as restore the gloss and enhance the appearance of conductive flooring surfaces. This product is easy to use, extends the life of static dissipative finishes and lengthens the periods between stripping and recoating, saving you time and money.
Application
Remove loose dirt and soil by sweeping or vacuuming. For best results, first damp mop area with StatCare Clean, our conductive cleaner. A good quality neutral cleaner can also be used to damp mop with minimum adverse effect to the finish properties. Using a soft or medium pad, spray Buff ahead of the buffing machine, working small areas at a time. StatCare Buff can also be diluted 32 ounces per gallon of water (1:4) for use as a mop-on restorer. Dilute the StatCare Buff in a mop bucket with cold water. Damp mop the area using a lint free cotton or combination cotton and synthetic mop. Allow the floor to dry thoroughly then burnish with a soft pad. Wash and rinse buffing pads after each application.
